Signing in

Sign in with your work email and password. The toggle picks where you land — the App (everyone) or the Admin console (admins only). Your session stays signed in, so you won't be asked to log in again while you're using it.

One login, two places

  • App — the kitchen view: jars, alerts and requisitions for the hotels you're assigned to.
  • Admin console — manage hotels, users and your group account (admins can also use the App for any hotel).
  • Pick a hotel — the location chip at the top switches which kitchen you're viewing; your choice is remembered.
  • Forgot password? emails you a secure reset link. Invites work the same way for new users.

Jar detail

Live gauge, the latest interior photo with a scrubber back through the last 50 readings, a burn-rate forecast, refills and automation. Run AI content detection on any reading — each row shows whether the contents were AI‑detected, set Manually or Inherited — and add an expiration date that warns you within two days (here and on the home page) and clears itself on a refill.

Live jars & mock jars

Add jars from More → Manage Smart Jars. There are two kinds — real hardware (Live) and virtual demo jars (Mock) you can drive yourself.

Manage smart jars

Two kinds of jar

  • Live — real hardware. Connect it over Bluetooth, then enter its Jar ID + activation code to claim it into a hotel. It reports its weight and a photo each time it's opened and closed; readings flow in automatically.
  • Mock (M5-001…M5-999) — a virtual jar for demos. Pick its contents, capacity and a consumption rate. No hardware needed.
  • Auto-refill — both kinds raise a refill to the store automatically when they drop below their trigger level. A refill closes the order on its own.

Know what's in every jar

  • Re-identify with AI — on a live jar (its detail screen, or Manage Smart Jars), one tap sends the latest interior photo to a vision model. It suggests what's inside — "long-grain white rice", "red split lentils" — with a confidence for each. Pick the right one.
  • Set the label manually — none of the suggestions fit, or no photo yet? Type the contents yourself.
  • Once set, the label sticks until you re-identify — a kitchen rarely swaps a jar's contents, so identification only runs when you ask for it.

1

Add a jar

Manage Smart Jars → toggle Live or Mock, pick the hotel, and fill in the details.

2

Set consumption

On a mock jar, switch on Simulate Consumption and choose a rate (g per minute/hour/day/week) to watch it drain.

3

Auto-reorder

When a jar dips below its trigger %, a requisition is raised to the store — no one has to be logged in.

4

Refill

Tap Refill Now on a mock jar (or refill a live jar) — the level tops up and the open order closes.

Tip: a mock jar holds its level until you turn consumption on — so you can stage exactly the demo you want.
